Valley Surgery Center performs ophthalmology procedures and had hoped to offer pediatric day surgery and ENT.

The ASC’s application was opposed by two local hospitals and another surgery center that claimed the area had enough OR space, according to the report.

The surgery center can elect to appeal the ruling to the circuit court.
