AmSurg shares jump 0.7%, market cap totals $3.7B; Nobilis Health names David Young CFO & more — 5 ASC company notes

Here are five updates on ASC management companies from the past week.

AmSurg shares increased 0.7 percent on Feb. 8, 2017, reaching $69.02 per share. AmSurg’s market cap totals $3.71 billion.

Houston-based Hospital Corporation of America Gulf Coast Division named Holly Elliott the vice president of women’s and children’s services. She will work alongside HCA Gulf Division CEO Troy Villarreal and Ashley McClellan, CEO of Houston-based The Woman’s Hospital of Texas, in her new position to create and implement various initiatives within the women’s and children’s division.

Eight research firms issued Deerfield, Ill.-based Surgical Care Affiliates a “hold” rating. Among analysts covering the shares, the 12-month average price target totals $48.50.

David Young is Houston-based Nobilis Health Corp.’s new CFO. Prior to joining Nobilis’ team, Mr. Young was the senior vice president and division CFO for St. Paul, Minn.-based St. Jude Medical’s America division.

Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare shares increased 3.4 percent during the week of Feb. 6 to Feb. 10, 2017, trading at $18.97 per share.
