Center for Advanced Digestive Care names Dr. David Carr-Locke clinical director: 3 key notes

New York City-based Center for Advanced Digestive Care at the NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center named David Carr-Locke, MD, its newest clinical director.

Here’s what you should know.

1. Dr. Carr-Locke has more than 40 years of experience in therapeutic endoscopy. Before joining the Center, he served as the chief of the digestive diseases division at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Medical Center.

2. In his new role, Dr. Carr-Locke oversees the development and implementation of the center’s endoscopic services.

3. Dr. Carr-Locke said, “I am delighted to be joining two world-renowned institutions committed to providing the best possible care for patients. My mission is to change the way digestive diseases are treated, with an emphasis on greater convenience and broader expertise for patients.”
