New York State Common Retirement Fund bolsters stake in AmSurg in Q3 — 4 quick notes

During the third quarter of fiscal year 2016, New York State Common Retirement Fund increased its stake in Nashville, Tenn.-based AmSurg by 7.9 percent, according to Daily Quint.

1. The firm presently holds 270,517 AmSurg shares.

2. At its most recent U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filing, New York State Common Retirement Fund owned 0.5 percent of AmSurg for a nearly $18.14 million total value.

3. On Jan. 20, 2017, AmSurg shares opened the day trading at $67.75 per share.

4. AmSurg’s 50-day moving average is $64.49 and 200-day moving average is $69.95.
