2. Dr. Fernandez-Zapico is a noted pancreatic cancer researcher with the Mayo Clinic. He works out of the clinic’s Cancer Center, Department of Oncology, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology and the Center for Cell Signaling in Gastroenterology.
The National Institutes of Health supports his research.
3. Dr. Fernandez-Zapico’s research has been “seminal for the understanding of mechanisms driving this malignancy and serves as a foundation for multiple National Cancer Institute sponsored trials.”
