2. The National Healthcare Safety Network reported a 13 percent decrease in hospital-onset MRSA bacteremia from 2011 to 2014. The CDC reported a 36 percent decrease in healthcare-associated invasive MRSA from 2008 to 2014.
3. From 2006 to 2014, there was a 17 percent decrease in some surgical site infections.
4. C-diff infections fell 8 percent from 2011 to 2014.
5. From 2009 to 2014, there was a 24 percent decrease in CAUTI in acute care hospital wards and a 16 percent decrease in CAUTI in hospital intensive care units.
