The Anesthesia-Rx improvements resulted from McKesson’s collaborative relationship with Shore Memorial Hospital in Somers Point, N.J., and testing for the new release was performed at The Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, according to the release.

Among the patient safety improvements are alerts for nurses when changes are made to medication orders and a temperature monitoring solution.
