Here’s what you should know.
1. GetInsured will begin offering Array’s offerings to form a group-, individual- and Medicare-based eCommerce insurance platform.
2. The companies partnered in 2015 to use GetInsured’s individual exchange capabilities with Array’s products.
3. CEO of GetInsured Chini Krishnan said the acquisition is strengthening the business’ platform and meeting an unmet need in the market.
4. Mr. Krishnan will stay CEO of the combined company. Array’s CEO Jonathan Rickert will serve as senior vice president of the insurer business unit.
5. The company plans to move its HQ from Palo Alto to Mountain View, Calif.
