Here’s what you need to know.

1. McKesson is modeling its new program after its existing physician IOD program. More than 1,000 physicians at 150 oncology practices utilize it.

2. The IOD for GI physicians combines “advanced technology, managed care expertise and dedicated clinical support” to help practices support patients.

3. The IOD platform allows for a streamline process to fill oral and self-injectable medications. By dispensing in-office providers are able to monitor their patients and manage side effects.
