Dr. Bernsen works out of the clinics Northwest Gastroenterologists Center in Arlington Heights, Ill.
His career began after he earned his medical degree from Chicago’s Rush Medical College. He completed his residency at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago. He completed his fellowship at Loyola University of Chicago.
Dr. Bernsen is certified by both the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Gastroenterology.
He is an active member in several professional societies including the American Gastroenterological Association and the American College of Gastroenterology.
