Here are five notes:

1. COPIC, a healthcare and patient safety leader, encompasses COPIC Insurance, COPIC Financial Group and COPIC Medical Foundation.

2. MedFax is a medical data platform that collects, aggregates and distributes primary source information.

3. The data includes demographic, education/training, practice, licensing, certification, investigation, disciplinary and legal records for U.S. physicians.

4. This information is then standardized, indexed and cross-referenced on a daily basis, so users receive real-time analytics.

5. Medical professional liability insurers can leverage MedFax to optimize new business acquisition, customer retention, operational processing and risk/claims management.

“Through ongoing funding and research, we collaborate with others who are making a significant difference in the field of healthcare,” said Gerry Lewis-Jenkins, COO, COPIC. “MedFax shares our common mission of improving medicine in the communities we serve.”
