Here’s what you should know.
1. Mr. Moore was the Medicaid director and administrator for the Wisconsin Department of Health Services before joining Aurora.
While working for the state he provided Medicaid services to 1.2 million members with a more than $18.6 biennial budget.
He also oversaw the state’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefiting more than 800,000 Wisconsin residents.
2. Mr. Moore was also the deputy secretary with the state department before that.
3. Mr. Moore holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He will begin his position with Aurora in late October.
