AGA awards research fellowship to Kimberly Agbo: 3 things to know

The American Gastroenterological Association Research Foundation recently awarded Kimberly Agbo the 2016 AGA Investing in the Future Student Research Fellowship.

Here are three things to know:

1. Ms. Agbo is a first-year medical student at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, N.J.

2. This fellowship award allows Ms. Agbo to work in a research lab for the first time.

3. Ms. Agbo will work with Vincent Yang, MD, PhD, at Stony Brook University in New York.
