Here’s what you should know.
1. The app will help insured and uninsured consumers estimate costs of procedures in Connecticut, New York, Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
2. The app is built off of a database of more than 21 billion claims for medical and dental procedures beginning in 2002. FAIR Health receives payer data that includes more than 150 million private individual plans.
3. Vice President of Program at CT Health Tiffany Donelson said the app and it’s pricing data was “absolutely critical to advancing health equity in Connecticut.”
