Hamilton Medical Center earns Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval: 4 takeaways

The Joint Commission recently named Hamilton Medical Center in Georgia a recipient of it’s Gold Seal of Approval for shoulder replacement surgery.

Here’s what you should know.

1. The certification recognizes the center’s commitment to complying with The Joint Commission’s standards. The center was underwent a rigorous on-site survey in July where a Joint Commission representative reviewed standards of care, leadership and medication management.

2. The Hamilton Health System, which the center is part of, has nine affiliate organizations.

3. The center contains four operating suites with the latest medical technology.

4. The center has received the Guardian of Excellence Award from Press Ganey Associates eight times.
