Dr. Mukadder Ozcan joins OU Physicians: 5 things to know

Anesthesiologist Mukadder D. Ozcan, MD, joined OU Physicians in Oklahoma City, according to an Edmond Sun report.

Here are five things to know:

1. Dr. Ozcan completed her residency at OU College of Medicine after earning her medical degree in Turkey and completing time as a research scientist in the OU College of Medicine department of anesthesiology.

2. She is a member of the Oklahoma Society of Anesthesiologists and American Society of Anesthesiologists.

3. In addition to joining OU Physicians, Dr. Ozcan was named a clinical instructor with the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine.

4. OU Physicians has several adult and pediatric centers of excellence, including the Breast Health Network, Bone Marrow Transplant Unit, The Trauma One Center and OU Vascular Center.

5. OU Physicians ranks in the top 2 percent nationally in patient satisfaction scores.
