Central California Endoscopy Center receives AAAHC accreditation: 4 notes

The Central California Endoscopy Center, of Fresno, Calif., was recently accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. Here’s what you should know about the endoscopic surgical center.

1. The center specializes in examining the esophagus, stomach and colon. The scope of service consists of colonoscopies and upper endoscopies.

2. The center features 15 physicians and a team of nurses and administrators on staff.

3. In 2014, the center’s physicians performed over 12,500 procedures.

4. The center opened in February 2002 and is a joint partnership between gastroenterologists, colorectal surgeons and AmSurg.
