Carilion agreed to sell the imaging center along with a surgery center last year following an antitrust investigation by the FTC.
Carilion sold the Center for Surgical Excellence to a group of local physicians who operate Fairlawn Surgery Center in March, according to the report.
Under the proposed agreement, InSight will acquire the imaging center and its equipment. The agreement also includes a provision that guarantees three radiologists will stay with the center, according to the report.
