Shepherd Eye Surgicenter accredited by AAAHC: 4 things to know

The Accredidation Association of Ambulatory Health Care recently accredited Shepherd Eye Surgicenter of Las Vegas. Here’s what you need to know.

1. The center is nationally-recognized for eye care and eye surgery. It performs the most cataract surgeries of any practice in the state of Nevada.

2. The surgery center in Las Vegas is Medicare approved, and features two operating rooms, a pre- and postoperative area and a reception area for family and friends.

3. The center employs 15 physicians on staff.

4. The Las Vegas center was opened in 1968 by John Shepherd, MD. The clinic has four locations in Henderson, Las Vegas, Southwest and Summerlin, Nev.
