El Paso geriatric/gastroenterology department receives 100 % patient satisfaction: 3 points

The geriatric/gastroenterology department at the Texas-based University Medical Center of El Paso recently received a 100 percent satisfaction rating from its patients.

1. The quarterly satisfaction report included patients’ experiences with nurses, doctors and their overall care.

2. This is the first time the department has received a perfect satisfaction rating.

3. Alongside medical care, the geriatric/gastroenterology department includes programs like painting classes and pet therapy, in an effort to make patients feel more comfortable and less anxious.
