Olympus to build $12M service, distribution center: 4 things to know

Olympus Surgical Technologies America, a subsidiary of Olympus of the Americas, is building a $12 million service center in Bartlett, Tenn., according to The Morning Call.

Here are four things to know:

1. The East Coast National Service Center will encompass 110,000 square feet.

2. The facility will be a service and distribution center for a number of Olympus products, including endoscopes and surgical devices.

3. The facility is expected to employ more than 280 people.

4. The facility is slated to be completed by April 2017.
