Hospital Prices Up 0.1% in April

The prices for selected healthcare industries rose 0.2 percent in April from the previous month, with hospitals seeing a 0.1 percent increase, according to information from the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Producer Price Index.

Compared with April 2009, hospital prices were up 3.7 percent. Physicians’ offices were up 0.4 percent in April from the previous month.
