Hudson Garrett, PhD, is PENTAX Medical’s new global chief clinical officer.

1. As chief clinical officer, Dr. Garrett will lead the company’s clinical-related activities across the globe.

2. PENTAX Medical, a division of Hoya, opted to create this new role to speed up its offering of clinical relevant products aimed at enhancing patient care.

3. Specializing in infection control, Dr. Garrett will draw on his experience to ensure PENTAX Medical is working to reduce infection risks and cross contamination.

4. Dr. Garrett completed his infection control and hospital epidemiology fellowship at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore.
