1. The foundation will use the money to fund research projects, research fellowships and educational offerings at the Northwestern Medicine Digestive Health Center in Chicago.
2. Stephen B. Hanauer, MD, the center’s director, was an honoree at the benefit.
3. Northwestern Medicine will establish a fellowship in Dr. Hanauer’s name using a part of the funds raised.
