1. Last week, President Obama said Congress needs to get him a bill with ample funds to combat Zika virus. He said Congress should not take a recess until they provide a bill.
2. While the Senate has proposed a bipartisan $1.1 billion deal, the House is supporting a $622 million Republican bill.
3. The White House is more open to the Senate’s bill and has cautioned it will likely veto the House bill.
