Temple University Hospital names Dr. David Fish director of critical care: 4 things to know

Philadelphia-based Temple University Hospital named David J. Fish, MD, director of critical care in the department of anesthesiology and a professor of clinical anesthesiology at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University.

Here are four things to know:

1. Dr. Fish specializes in critical care anesthesiology.

2. His research interests include monoclonal antibodies, sepsis and antibiotics involving drug-resistant organisms.

3. He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, Pennsylvania Society of Anesthesiologists and International Anesthesia Research Society.

4. He completed an anesthesiology residency and internal medicine residency at Temple University Hospital. He completed a critical care fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
