Dr. Ashok Kewalramani provides care on medical mission trip to Peru: 4 notes

Anesthesiologist Ashok Kewalramani, DO, Mercy Medical Center-Sioux City (Iowa) traveled to Lima, Peru on a medical mission trip, according to a Sioux City Journal report.

Here are four notes:

1. In Peru, Dr. Kewalramani assisted Jeffrey Dean, DDS, MD, an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, with 15 surgeries.

2. Dr. Kewalramani also has prior experience providing medical care in Honduras and Bolivia.

3. Mercy Medical Center donated $3,400 worth of medications and $5,000 worth of other medical supplies to the physicians.

4. Dr. Kewalramani completed his residency at University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in Iowa City.
