The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care granted accreditation to Arizona Surgical Specialists. Here are five things to know:
1. The surgery center received certification requirements initially in 2003.
2. Specialties at the surgery center include general surgery, cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, ENT, gynecology, ophthalmology and orthopedic surgery.
3. The surgery center is independent and physician-owned.
4. The surgery center includes free parking and handicapped parking and accepts liens on a case-by-case basis.
