Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield is encouraging its members to use telehealth services, according to The Weekly Standard.

Here are five insights:

1. The payer expanded its virtual service, LiveHealth Online.

2. Consumers may “visit” physicians, therapists and psychologists on their mobile phones, tablets or computers.

3. LiveHealth Online offers around the clock access to board-certified physicians.

4. The payer also urges patients to virtually meet with a therapist or psychologist if they’re feeling stressed or worried.

5. Anthem created its virtual program in 2013.
