NorthStar Anesthesia has acquired Continental Anesthesia.

Here are three things to know:

1. Continental Anesthesia is a Chicago-based anesthesia provider with 100 clinical associates.

2. With the acquisition, NorthStar increases its team of anesthesiologists and CRNAs to 1,700 providers across the country at more than 180 facilities in 20 states.

3. NorthStar partners with hospitals and ASCs and aims to deliver a more efficient model of anesthesia care.
