Here are five points:

1. CarePoint Health decreased its capital expenses by $15 million since it implemented the end-to-end Dell solution a year ago.

2. The health system chose Dell XC Web-Scale Converged Appliances, which combines compute and storage into a single platform.

3. Dell’s technology stabilizes the infrastructure, which safeguards electronic medical records.

4. The health system will use Dell MSite, a cloud that will host its MEDITECH applications.

5. “In the past, we used to chase technology issues and provide patches, but we could not provide real value to the business,” said Lev Goronshteyn, chief technology officer, CarePoint Health. “By stabilizing the infrastructure, we became more strategic and focused on aligning IT to the business and then integrating that across the whole hospital system.”
