Tennessee Medical Association offers new leadership course: 5 notes

The Tennessee Medical Association and Tennessee Medical Education Fund are offering new leadership training programs for physicians and healthcare companies, according to The Chattanoogan.com.

Here are five notes:

1. The new program is called Physician Leadership Lab.

2. The program focuses on applying a team approach to healthcare delivery, as well as tips on operating in a value-based reimbursement landscape.

3. The 29 physicians will watch online webinars as well as attend in-person classes.

4. The physicians will graduate from the program on July 15, 2016.

5. The TMA is also offering a new leadership retreat.
