Through the expansion, US Endoscopy expects to add 150 employees to its current staff of 330, according to the report. The company has applied to the Mentor City Council for a Mentor Incentive grant from the Department of Economic & Community Development to support its job growth.
The company has also applied for a $1 million Ohio Third Frontier grant to support the research and development, product testing and approval process needed to adapt some of its GI products for urology and cystology procedures, according to the report.
