Orthopedic Institute for Children to open ASC in LA, names ASC clinical director

This summer, the Orthopedic Institute for Children will open its OIC Ambulatory Surgery Center in Los Angeles, the area’s first standalone surgery center focused on orthopedic pediatric care.

In anticipation of the center’s opening, the Orthopedic Institute for Children appointed Jamie Wells, RN, as clinical director. Ms. Wells previously served as the director of nursing at Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic’s surgery center in Los Angeles.
