Dr. Davidson focuses on familial gastrointestinal cancer syndromes and hereditary polyposis. His research interests include the molecular genetics of lipid transport and in the post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression, particularly RNA editing and mRNA stability. He has authored numerous articles published in professional journals, such as Bioinformatics, Digestive Diseases and Sciences and Journal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
Dr. Davidson completed his medical degree and residency training at Kings College Hospital Medical School in London, U.K. He completed his gastroenterology fellowship at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York.
