GI physician leader to know: Dr. Raghuram Reddy of Ohio Gastroenterology

Raghuram P. Reddy, MD, is a practicing gastroenterologist at Ohio Gastroenterology Group in Columbus. He joined in 2007. He is an active member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association and American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

Dr. Reddy focuses on diseases of the pancreas, and he is one of only four Ohio Gastroenterology physicians who perform endoscopic ultrasounds. He also performs colonoscopies, EGDs, flexible sigmoidoscopy, electrohydraulic lithotripsy and small bowel enteroscopy. His hospital affiliations include Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Dublin (Ohio) Methodist Hospital and Mount Carmel Hospital East & West also in Columbus.

Dr. Reddy earned his medical degree at Gandhi Medical College in Hyderabad, India. He completed his residency at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in Flint. He completed his GI and hepatology fellowship, with additional training in advanced endosonography, at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.
