Union County Surgery Center files $205k financing: 5 key notes

Union (N.J.) County Surgery Center submitted form D equity financing, according to an OCTA Finance report.

Here are five things to know:

1. The surgery center financed itself with $205,000, 100 percent of the financing offer.

2. Thomas Bombardier, MD, a founder and executive management member of Ambulatory Surgical Centers of America, filed the form.

3. The 6,500-square-foot surgery center includes two operating rooms and seven medical specialties. There are more than 50 physicians associated with the center.

4. The ASC is a member of Gateway Chamber of Commerce, New Jersey Association of Ambulatory Surgery Centers and Ambulatory Surgery Center Association.

5. Services at the surgery center include orthopedic surgery, podiatry, pain management, gastroenterology, plastic surgery and podiatry.
