1. Tenet’s board approved the repurchase of an additional $500 million of the hospital operator’s shares.
2. Tenet’s hospital operator reported revenue rose to $4.69 billion in the third quarter, compared to $4.17 billion the same period the prior year. The company had expected revenue of $4.65 billion to $4.85 billion.
3. Tenet had predicted per-share earnings of $0.05 to $0.49.
4. The company increased its revenue outlook to between $18.35 billion and $18.55 billion.
