Here are five key notes:
1. Tenet is making a $7 million investment for the project.
2. Doctors Hospital of Manteca will use the funds to open three operating rooms and two procedure rooms within a medical campus that includes physician offices and an imaging center.
3. Doctors Hospital expects double-digit growth in all patient services by the end of the year, and outpatient surgeries are expected to jump 10 percent over 2014.
4. The new outpatient operating rooms will free up space in the inpatient hospital for inpatient procedures and make surgery “progressively easier” for patients and physicians.
5. The facility also will have easier parking and navigation through the facility than the inpatient hospital.
