Dr. Nikolla focuses on general gastroenterology, upper and lower endoscopy, colorectal cancer prevention, motility disorders of the esophagus including pH monitoring as well as anorectal manometry. Her hospital affiliations include Vassar Brothers Medical Center and MidHudson Regional Hospital of Westchester Medical Center, both located in Poughkeepsie. She has had her work published in number of prestigious journals.
Dr. Nikolla completed her medical degree at the University of Tirana in Albania. She completed her internal medicine residency at Jacobi Medical Center in New York and her gastroenterology fellowship at Bridgeport Hospital/Yale New Haven (Conn.) School of Medicine.
