Daughters of Charity Health names John Ferrelli president, CEO of Seton Medical: 5 notes

Daughters of Charity Health System appointed John Ferrelli as Seton Medical Center’s new president and CEO.

Here are five notes:

1. In his new position, Mr. Ferrelli will oversee the operations for Seton Medical Center in Daly City, Calif., and Seton Coastside in Moss Beach, Calif.

2. He replaces retiring Joanne Allen.

3. Mr. Ferrelli has more than 25 years of experience in hospital systems, acute care, long-term care and ambulatory surgery centers.

4. Prior to this appointment, he worked at USC Norris Cancer Hospital in Los Angeles as chief administrative officer.

5. Mr. Ferrelli’s patient care work at JFK Medical Center led to the center’s second highest quality ranking in the 81-hospital Tenet system.

“These are challenging and exciting times, and I look forward to working collaboratively with physicians while supporting clinicians and staff to provide high quality care,” said Mr. Ferrelli.
