NAPA names 1st recipients of new honor: 4 quick notes

North American Partners in Anesthesia named Candy Bayack, CPC, and Christine Celi, CRNA, the first recipients of new Peter Walker, MD Mission, Vision, Values Champion Award.

1. The award is a newly inaugurated NAPA program designed to recognize those who live the organization’s mission, vision and core values.

2. The program is named for founder emeritus Dr. Peter Walker, and it recognizes one clinical partner and one administrative staff member every quarter.

3. Candy Bayack serves as senior director of operations support at NAPA.

4. Christine Celi serves as a staff nurse anesthetist for NAPA’s Mid-Atlantic division and a clinical instructor at Richamond-based Virginia Commonwealth University’s Graduate School Nurse Anesthesia Program.
