Physicians Realty Trust acquires Laser & Surgery Center of the Palm Beaches for $14M: 4 deal insights

Physicians Realty Trust, a self-managed healthcare real estate investment trust based in Milwaukee, has acquired the Laser & Surgery Center of the Palm Beaches in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., according to The Real Deal.

Here are four things to know about the transaction.

1. The surgery center houses seven operating rooms, two procedure rooms and 18 recovery areas. Physicians Realty Trust acquired the facility for $14 million.

2. The 20,377-square-foot, multispecialty surgery center has more than 60 physicians.

3. LSPB Real Estate sold the building to Physicians Realty Trust. LSPB Real Estate is headed by physicians Evan Rosen, MD; Richard Margolies, MD; David Mittleman, MD, and Andrew Ostapchuk, DPM, according to the report.

4.  The Laser & Surgery Center of the Palm Beaches was last sold in 2006 at $5 million, according to the report.
