Abrazo Community Health Network plans ambulatory services expansion: 3 key notes

As Phoenix-based Abrazo Health morphs into the Abrazo Community Health Network, Michele Finney, market CEO of Abrazo Community Health Network forecasts expansion along with many name changes.

Here are three things to know:

1. According to a release, Michele Finney, Abrazo Community Health Network’s market CEO said the health network will be expanding their “ambulatory footprint” in the coming months to include urgent care centers and outpatient centers.

2. Since 2014, Abrazo has invested $100 million in new technologies for integration of medical records.

3. Abrazo currently includes five acute care hospitals, a heart hospital and two emergency centers.

“There has been a surge of news about hospital system mergers, acquisitions and name changes locally and across the nation,” said Ms. Finney. “What makes our announcement different is our transformative vision to shape healthcare in Arizona.”
