Dr. William Tremaine to chair University of Minnesota research reform team

The University of Minnesota in Minneapolis has established a team that will lead the reform of its research program, according to a Minnesota Public Radio report.

William Tremaine, MD, a gastroenterologist with the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., will chair the team. Dr. Tremaine also serves as the director of the Mayo Clinic Institutional Review Board.

Brooks Jackson, MD, dean of the University’s medical school, and Brian Herman, MD, vice president of research at the University of Minnesota, will serve as co-chairs of the team.
