GI physician leader to know: Dr. Reed Hogan of GI Associates and Endoscopy Center

Reed B. Hogan, MD, is a gastroenterologist practicing at GI Associates and Endoscopy Center in Jackson, Miss., and Madison, Miss. He is a clinical assistant professor of medicine at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson and chairman of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy’s special interest group for ambulatory endoscopy centers. He also serves on the ASGE Practice Management Committee.

Dr. Hogan’s hospital affiliations include Baptist Medical Center and Restorative Care Hospital in Jackson. He is a speaker and writer in the field of gastroenterology and has published numerous articles on the subject. He is board-certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.



Dr. Hogan earned his medical degree at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson. He completed a residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson and a gastroenterology fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.
