5 recent ASC industry leadership moves – March 5, 2015

Here are five ambulatory surgery center industry leaders who recently took on new roles.

Orthopedic surgeon Jonathan Evans, DO, was named the medical director of Corvallis (Ore.) Clinic Surgery Center.

EmployerDirect named Clint Hampton CEO. Mr. Hampton replaces Tom Johnston as the company’s chief executive, and Mr. Johnston will remain with EmployerDirect as an advisor to the board while also pursuing other opportunities.

Henry Lee, MD, facial reconstructive surgeon, joined The Eye Care & Surgery Center in Westfield, N.J.

Dean K. Matsuda, MD, joined DISC Sports & Spine Center. He will lead the establishment of a hip arthroscopy center of excellence and serve as its director.

A little more than a year ago, Vicki Sanders became a senior vice president of business operations with Nueterra. Previously, Ms. Sanders was a vice president of business office service with the company.
