Bulls’ Derrick Rose to have knee surgery

Chicago Bulls Guard Derrick Rose will have knee surgery, according to a Sun Times report.

Bulls team physician Brian Cole, MD, will perform a procedure to correct a meniscal tear Mr. Rose suffered earlier this week. Dr. Cole is also a partner at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush.

Dr. Cole focuses on sports medicine and completed his fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh. He also serves as a co-team physician for the Chicago White Sox and previously performed two other knee surgeries on Mr. Rose.
