GI physician leader to know: Dr. Priti Bijpuria of Maryland Digestive Disease Center

Priti Bijpuria, MD, is a gastroenterologist practicing at Ellicott City-based Capital Digestive Care’s Maryland Digestive Disease Center. She also provides care at Ambulatory Endoscopy Center of Maryland in Laurel and Howard County General Hospital in Columbia, Md.

Dr. Bijpuria is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, Montgomery County Medical Society and The Maryland State Medical Society. She also provides care at Laurel Regional Hospital and Washington Adventist Hospital in Takoma Park, Md.

Dr. Bijpuria earned her medical degree at University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore and completed her residency in internal medicine at Boston University. Additionally, she has completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at Drexel University College of Medicine/Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia.
