Dr. Bell is board-certified and he has practiced gastroenterology in southeastern Virginia for more than 20 years. He has received numerous awards, including the distinguished alumnus award of the Portsmouth Schools Foundation in Virginia.
Dr. Bell earned his medical degree at Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. He completed his internal medicine residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia and a fellowship in gastroenterology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.
